Just got ver. 3.1 off ebay for a steal, but I didn't get a manual. Does anyone know how, of it's even possible to make the menu's appear in english. Evidently I have the german version but I don't speak a word of it so I have no idea what they mean. My guess is there's an option somewhere in the setup or UI menu but I don't have an english overlay. Hi, i'm just wondering if any of you still have 3D Studio MAX Release 3 and 4. It would be fun to toy around a little, but i have only acquired 3D Studio R4 for MS-DOS but i'm now seeking for the early versions of 3ds max for Windows 9x. Dec 14, 2007 - I am looking for a trial version for Kinetex 3D Studio Max version 3. I know this version. Kinetix 3D Studio Max 3.1 Aleman-German.ZIP Torrent. I got Kinetix 3d Studio MAx 3.1 if you want it. I don't know, back then when I was trying to get 3d studio, I think there were to different company that release it or something. I do have a little tip for ya's- I know Max has a problem importing/exporting certain types of files. Recently I was turned on to 'Milkshape' which has alot more import/export options. I use it primarily for importing *.nif files into Max. Use milkshape to import the *.nif, then export it to max, or autocad. Works good but has a problem with complex models and some light maps. Hope this helps someone. RE: 3dsMax 3.1 language (Electrical). Greetings all: Recently I purchased a used copy of 3D Studio Max 3.1 just so I can mod BC. The program is ancient (7 years old?) and unfortunatelly Discreet (Kinetix) no longer supports it. My problem is the menu's are in German and I don't speak the language. I've traced the menu tab labels back to the *.cui files in the main menu of the program and I'm begging for someone to e-mail me those files from their English version. I count about 4 of them (*.UI and *.CUI) and combined they total about 100K. If you can help me, please PM me as Discreet won't help me and I don't have the resources or the knowledge of the German language to translate the tab label files. 3d Studio Max3D Studio MAX 3 Effects Magic is structured in as a cookbook for you, just like highly-trained chefs who are in constant need of new ideas for recipes.
